Will 2011 be a year of mass protest against the coalition's cuts? Victoria speaks to several activists, including Sunny Hundal, who writes a left wing blog and is organising tomorrow's conference called Netroots UK to help activists work together more effectively. Mary Rickles, spokeswoman for Netroots Nation in the US tells Victoria how successful protest campaigns can be run. Writer and anarchist Ian Bone, and Ellie Mae O'Hagan who supports the UK Uncut group also join the discussion.

The 'Barmy Army' are celebrating England's Ashes win - we hear from devoted fans in London, Kent, and over in Sydney.

And there's music from singer-songwriter Jessie J, who's come top in 大象传媒 Sound of 2011. Industry pundits have voted her 2011's most promising artist.
