Is India in denial over Hindu extremism? And would an Asian mother have shopped her son or daughter?
At 1, Is India in denial over Hindu extremism?
Is India in denial over Hindu extremism? A hindu holy man - Swami Aseemanand has admitted that he and several other people linked to a right-wing Hindu group planned and carried out bombings in India that were then blamed on Muslims. It mirrors comments made by Rahul Gandhi just before christmas - he said Hindu extremists posed a bigger threat to India than Muslim militants. So, tell us honestly, do you believe India is in denial about who is carrying out terror attacks on it's soil? It seems to blame Islamic militants every time there's an attack, some would argue - correctly. But is a wake up call for India. Do you believe militant Hindu groups have been carrying out attacks and blaming Muslims? And where does this leave the already strained relations between India and Pakistan?
After 2 - a mother was hailed as extremely brave for shopping her son to the authorities. Her son was the one who threw a fire extinguisher at police during the student riots last year. He's been sent down for over 2 years. Would an Asian mother have shopped her son or daughter?
