Nihal asks - are religion and culture more important than the law? Plus is it a mother's duty to stay at home and look after the children because childcare is so expensive?

At 1, 'Is religion and culture more important than the law?'

On our news bulletins today you may have heard the story about Hena Begum, the Bangladeshi girl who died after being lashed by villagers. She was accused of having an affair with a married man. The man escaped but as a result of her horrific injuries, Hena Begum dies in hospital a week later. Is there a systemic problem within the Asian community when it comes to abiding the law and following their religion? Can you be goverened by both? Then at 2, Is it a mother's duty to stay at home and look after the children because childcare is so expensive?
