The government is overhauling the welfare system.
In future, there will be one universal benefit paid to the unemployed, new sanctions for those who turn down jobs, and a cap on the amount of benefits that can be paid to a single family.
So if you're unemployed, what would get you working? And if you're an employer, have you got the jobs to give to people who have been long-term unemployed?
