At 1, Is it Naive to think that the Godhra train verdict will bring an end to religious violence in India?
A court has found 31 Muslims guilty of murdering 59 Hindus pilgrims by setting fire to a train in Godhra in 2002. In the rioting that followed the attack its estimated that at least a thousand people, mainly Muslims were murdered. Ever since 2002 there's been claims that the Gujarat government encouraged the murdering of Muslims and there's been debate over whether the original attack was organised, or part of a conspiracy.
Do you think that this verdict today will draw a line under the incident?
After 2- A man has been granted a divorce because a court has ruled that his wife's parents interfered too much in the marriage. Is that something you're familiar with? Has your marriage been ruined by interfering in-laws? or do parents have a right to protect their daughter even after marriage?
