Catherine Bott introduces highlights from the 28th annual Utrecht Festival of Early Music in The Netherlands, which last year chose French Baroque music as its theme. This programme includes music by Andr茅 Gr茅try, Marin Marais, Fran莽ois Couperin, Jean-Baptiste Lully and Jean-F茅ry Rebel, in performances by the French baritone Pierre-Yves Pruvot with Les Agr茅mens, viol-player Wieland Kuijken, harpsichordist Aur茅lien Delage, the chorus & orchestra of Le Parnasse Fran莽ais, and the Ricercar Consort.
