Salami is acting very strangely, running round in circles and howling at the moon. Jeremy explains that it's the call of the wild. It's like in the book about the fur trappers of the Great White North that Eliot is reading.
Things take a turn for the worse when the little dog escapes. Braving the snow and the wild beasts, Eliot, Mimi and Kaytoo set off on Salami's trail. Will they manage to find her before she is captured by a horrible trapper who wants to turn her into a sled dog?
