Zainab鈥檚 snappy with Tamwar, he shouldn鈥檛 be worrying about his love life. Masood wants to know how Yusef upset Zainab. Masood confronts Zainab, she insists they must get rid of Yusef. Zainab wants to break Tamwar and Afia up. Zainab takes Afia鈥檚 phone and gives it to Masood, she wants him to leave messages, to suggest Afia鈥檚 having an affair. Instead, Masood gives Tamwar the engagement ring. Masood persuades Tamwar to give Afia the ring in front of everyone at Denise鈥檚 party. Yusef then gives Afia her late Mother鈥檚 ring, a family tradition. Afia wants to wear it, Tamwar understands but Masood doesn鈥檛, he shouts at Yusef - he鈥檚 showing them up. Masood explodes, telling everyone at the party that Yusef set Zainab alight, leaving her for dead. Denise stands up for Yusef, Zainab leaves in tears. Masood and Zainab argue outside, Zainab doesn鈥檛 actually recall Yusef being there the night she was set alight. Afia tells Tamwar she has lost the ring he gave her. Holding the ring, Yusef smiles to himself.

Roxy wants Glenda to help her get her money back and suggests they have lunch to discuss it. Ronnie makes excuses, she won鈥檛 go to the counsellor/lunch/shopping, Glenda worries about her. Later, Glenda finds Ronnie in church, Ronnie starts talking about Tommy insisting he鈥檚 there with them. Glenda鈥檚 confused and tells Ronnie that James needs her, she should be grateful he鈥檚 alive and well.

Denise starts divorce proceedings and throws a party to celebrate.

Abi can鈥檛 afford her chips, Jay buys them for her. They eat together, and get on well. Abi embarrassed when Shirley finds them together in the Arches.
