Are some Asians guilty of treating their domestic help like slaves? Plus children's sleep expert Chireal Shallow is here to answer your questions as the week's guru.

At 1, Are Asians guilty of treating their domestic help like slaves?

Did you read about the case of Saeeda Khan yesterday? She's been ordered to pay twenty five thousand pounds to a woman she brought over to work in her home from Tanzania, after a court heard she was kept as a virtual slave.

Saeeda Khan met Mwanahamisi Mruke in a hospital that Khan owned in Tanzania. She lured Mrs Mruke to her home in harrow with promises of wages to pay for her daughter's education, but when she arrived she was paid virtually nothing, had to work 20 hours a day and made to sleep on the kitchen floor.

This is obviously an isloated case, but is this more common in Asian homes than we realise? We all know stories of families who bring relatives over from abroad, and get them to help in the home. Is this beneficial for both parties, or is the "help" being exploited?

What's the truth about Asians bringing people in from back home?

After 2, Chireal Shallow is this week's Guru, and she's here to help you get your child to sleep!
