Four days after the devastating earthquake and tsumami that hit Japan, financial experts are now turning their attention to the country's economy. Peter Westway, an economist at Nomura joins us.
The final report and recommendations of the Fair Pay Review by Will Hutton are being published. So how much should high-flying public sector managers earn - compared to lower paid staff? We speak to Tony Travers of the London School of Economics.
And we'll soon find out what the Office of National Statistics will be putting in the basket of goods that it uses to calculate the cost of living. Each year some items are taken out while other items are put in - to reflect the 'average' household's spending habits. Neil Saunders, consulting director of Verdict Research joins us.
