Shaun Keaveny takes a rib-tickling satirical romp through the day's news and events, to the perfect morning soundtrack for any music-lover; from northern soul to new folk; rock 'n' roll to indie disco. New tracks from the likes of Wild Beasts and Florence & The Machine delightfully wrap around your semi-conscious ears, along with the best of the greatest back catalogues on the planet; be they The Smiths, The Stones, The Clash or The Jam.

Guest wise, Monday sees Shaun kick off the week with DJ, presenter and actor Goldie in the studio chatting about his new 大象传媒 2 programme 'Goldie's Band - By Royal Appointment'. The series follows Goldie on a mission to discover young people whose talent and passion for music is at the centre of their lives. After a personal nationwide search, 12 young musicians will be invited to a three-day residential where they will be mentored by a team of industry experts including composer Guy Chambers, jazz artist Soweto Kinch and 大象传媒 6 Music's very own Cerys Matthews.

After undergoing intense training the group, aged between 17 and 24, will attempt to stage a thrilling concert for an audience of special guests, including Prince Harry, at Buckingham Palace. The nature of the set and the individual contributions of the musicians to the concert will be determined during their time at two residencies.

Goldie will be chatting with Shaun about the series and his career that has seen him revolutionise British dance music, conduct the 大象传媒 Concert Orchestra and star in a James Bond film.
