Welsh consumer magazine. Rachel investigates after a viewer's 'secure shed' turned out to be worthless. Plus, the potential pitfalls of getting your car's engine reconditioned.
Margaret White from Barry was looking for a shed to store her mobility scooter in, and thought she'd found a man she could trust to build it. But Rachel discovers that after Margaret paid her life savings to Tom Connors from Rumney in Cardiff, she was left with a breezeblock structure described as worthless by a surveyor.
If your car gives up the ghost, then buying a new motor isn't the only option. Howard Thomas from Llangadog decided that rather than replace his old Landrover, he'd get the engine reconditioned. He arranged for Bray Engineering near Heathrow to collect and repair it. Howard thought it would take about a week, but four months and over 2,000 pounds later, he's still not got his car back.
Lucy's on the case with a problem involving a pre-paid electricity meter and some unexpected bills.
And it's goodbye and good luck to Penrhiwceiber. As the final scenes are played out at the village's film festival, Rhodri looks back at the highs and lows with the people who made it all possible.
