Is going on hunger strike to stop corruption in South Asia just plain stupid? Plus it's our weekly news quiz Guess the Story.

Is going on hunger strike to stop corruption is South Asia just plain stupid?

A man in his seventies is causing a storm in India because he's gone on hunger strike against corruption in the country. Anna Hazare has refused food for four days and his stance has galvanised support for the cause. Demonstrations have been held across the country, Cricket and Bollywood stars have declared their support and Sonia Gandhi has called for the government to listen to Hazare. He's promised to die for the cause.

But what do you think? Can you ever stamp out something that seems so endemic to South Asia culture? How many times have you had to pay a police officer? An airport official? Or even religious figures?

After 2, We'll be playing Guess the Story, our weekly news quiz.
