Violence breaks out in northern Nigeria after Goodluck Jonathan is officially named President. And the end of an era in US soap operas.

The encumbent Goodluck Jonathan is named the President of Nigeria but violence in the north of the country spoils the celebration.

Details emerge that the 16 year old suspected in the murder of two British tourists in Florida had been arrested 9 days earlier for firearms offences.

The problems facing live classical music in the US are put under the spotlight as Rhod speaks to representatives of both the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.

Plus, love triangles, murders, illegitimate children, baby switches and people returning from the dead. It can only be American soap operas. US television network ABC has axed two of its long time daytime soaps, including All My Children. Rhod speaks to Denise Vasi, AKA Randi Hubbard, one of the biggest stars.
