After the announcement of the death of photo journalist and documentary filmmaker Tim Hetherington in Libya, we hear from his agent Johanna Ramos Boyer.

Britain is expected to ban the export of three drugs used in lethal injections in the USA on Friday. Professor Robert Blecker and Professor Deborah Denno join us in hour two to discuss the practice and the alternatives to execution by lethal injection. Could firing squads be the answer?

Speaking from the Syrian city of Homs local resident 'Abood' tells us about the mood there after the deaths of protestors at a demonstration.
