New tracks from the likes of Friendly Fires and Mazes are nestled in next to the back catalogues of Hendrix and The Smiths. Shaun is joined live in studio by Matt Everitt for an irreverent take on the day's music news and Irish comedian Des Bishop joins after 9am.

Des will be chatting about his critically acclaimed show 'My Dad Was Nearly James Bond' which tours throughout the UK in May. He has won countless international praise for this personal tour, a knuckle-biting recount of an issue close to everyone's heart, which won critical acclaim across the board at the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.The tour is the deeply personal tale of his father who has been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Inspired by the impact it has had on his family and their sense of humour in dealing with it, Des's latest show My Dad Was Nearly James Bond tells of a remarkable life tinged with regret.

Des has previously released four stand-up DVDs including Des Bishop Live (2005), Tongues (2008) and Desfunctional (2009); all reaching top ten in the DVD charts.
