Tony Livesey and guests take you through the facts and opinions surrounding democracy. Are we too apathetic to complain? Do politicians lie? Is there a point to protesting?

Tony Livesey and guests take you through the facts and opinions surrounding democracy. Are we too apathetic to complain? Do politicians lie? Is there a point to protesting?

Right-wing journalist and blogger Toby Young is pitted against left-wing and New Statesman blogger and active protestor Laurie Penny to thrash out their opposing opinions over the issues of whether we have an equal voice.

Joining them in the studio will be MPs and experts to discuss what will happen with the coalition following the AV vote, and confronting politicians over whether they lie to get in to power, and why political u-turns happen. Should people stand up and be counted or shut up and stop moaning?
