Asian insensitivity to infertility.
Are Asians insensitive to infertility? Plus it's Get Healthy Month, so let our nutrition guru kick start your new healthy diet.
At 1- Are Asians insensitive to infertility?
Have you had problems trying for a baby? How did your family and friends react? Were they sympathetic, or did they just ask "what's wrong with you?". We're asking this because Kelly Brook has become the latest in a line of celebrities who've recently lost babies late in pregnancy. Miss Brook, Lily Allen and Amanda Holden have all suffered late miscarriages and received warmth and sympathy from the public and the press.
But have you or someone you know had a different experience whilst trying to conceive? Would you share your experiences with your family and friends, or are you worried they would just look down at you? Whilst the rest of the population is getting on and realising that infertility is a medical condition that can be treated like any other, why do Asians treat it as some sort of curse?
After 2- It's Get Healthy Month so let our Nutrition Guru Surinder Phull kick start your new healthy diet! Get your questions in - call 08459 440 445, text 81869 or email nihal@bbc.co.uk.
