The Archers actress June Spencer CBE is castaway by Kirsty Young.
Best known for her long-running 大象传媒 role as Peggy Woolley, June was one of the best-loved matriarchs in broadcasting.
June was the only original member of the cast still in the show.
Back in 2010, it was 60 years since the pilot episodes were first broadcast and, although she was then aged 90, June had no plans to retire.
She said: 'It's a great bonus for me that The Archers has run as long as it has, and I've gone along with it.'
June Spencer died aged 105 in November 2024,
