Do Asian parents make it harder for their kids to tell the truth?

Do Asian parents make it harder for their kids to tell the truth? Plus we have expert advice from two Indian solicitors on how to tackle your land issues back in India.

At 1- Do Asian parents make it harder for their kids to tell the truth?

Today's debate has been sparked by the case of Aisha Mather. She's a former law student who cried rape to avoid telling her family she'd been kicked out of university. Now this is an extreme case, and she's been jailed for two years, but it does raise an issue that's right at the heart of Asian families.

How easy it is to tell your parents about things they might not want to hear - from financial troubles, to education problems, to relationship issues? Is it just better to tell a lie and keep peace in the family? Or have you ever kept a secret to stop too much pressure being put on yourself? Are you just too afraid to tell parents about anything remotely controversial?

After 2 - We all know that land is the cause of many an argument in the Asian community, so to tackle this we've got two gurus. Whether it's buying or selling land, or trying to claim ownership of your family's estate, our Indian solicitors are here to help. Call 08459 440 445 or text 81869.
