Today's debate has been sparked by the case of Aisha Mather. She's a former law student who cried rape to avoid telling her family she'd been kicked out of university. Now this is an extreme case, and she's been jailed for two years, but it does raise an issue that's right at the heart of Asian families.

How easy it is to tell your parents about things they might not want to hear - from financial troubles, to education problems, to relationship issues?
