Amber's unhappily caught in the middle. As she's leaving for work she spots Lenny's old familiar keyring 'LM', the key to his old flat (where her brother was killed). Fraser assures Deek all is in order, but a watchful Lenny is less convinced. He suggests to Amber they have a look at Fraser's accounts. Amber's sceptical about Lenny's motives but is touched when he tells her there'll come a day when there's nobody to catch her when she falls. Amber later challenges Fraser about his cash flow situation but he's defensive and claims it's time Lenny paid his daughter back for all the rubbish she's had to deal with. Amber's confused and upset. Lenny spots doctor Brodie in the street and introduces himself.
Amber tells Lenny she'll agree to put her name on the cab application on one condition - Lenny must put up the money then leave town. It's decision time for an inwardly seething Lenny. Lenny joins Jimmy for a heart-to-heart at the fountain. He's aware he's about to blow Jimmy's taxi firm plans out the water, but in an act of kindness, Lenny offers Jimmy the keys to his old flat. Jimmy reluctantly accepts the gesture.

Jimmy sees Lenny, who reveals he may be leaving and asks Jimmy to keep an eye on Amber, but Jimmy has enough on his plate. He heads to the garage to speak to Deek and is greeted by Stella. Jimmy's furtive, desperate to get away. Stella's bemused and after some thought, tells Deek that perhaps it was Jimmy who stashed the counterfeit money and set him up. Deek's not convinced. Stella confronts Raymond who, sick of the deceit, summons Jimmy to explain and face the music. Jimmy's full of apologies but they fall on deaf ears. Jimmy packs his bags and leaves.
