This week James Jolly spotlights the talented young artists of their generation, who appear at this year's Proms; performers who have the potential to be the Barenboims, Kennedys and Karajans of the future.
Today, we feature Strauss' Alpine Symphony in a performance conducted by Andris Nelsons, the Latvian conductor, who is garnering high praise for his work with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, and Swedish soprano Miah Persson sings a concert aria by Mozart.
