Another recital featuring Radio 3 New Generation Artists at the 2011 City of London Festival. Recorded in the church of St. Mary, Aldermary, Dutch baritone Henk Neven (with his regular recital-partner, pianist Hans Eijsacker) sings a programme of folksongs and songs inspired by folk-music. The composers involved are Brahms, Benjamin Britten and one of Britten's great heroes, Australian-born Percy Grainger.
