Daft Punk Playlist Special

Tom Robinson pulls together your suggestions for the best tracks from Parisian electronic producers Daft Punk and other related artists.

Soma Records discovered the Daft Disc - a DAT containing a previously unreleased track from the one and only Daft Punk. Called Drive it is set to be released as part of the Scottish label's 20th Anniversary compilation, and prompted the listeners of Now Playing to build a playlist around their influence. It was a beat pulsating and foot stomping show which included music from Simian Mobile Disco, Justice, Air, Edwin Birdsong and many others.

Tom also ties up the latest digital music news, with tracks from Jamie Woon, Neon Indian and a Mike Skinner remix while also delving into what people are listening on Twitter - with fantastic results. Blogs Drowned in Sound and The Recommender also, well, recommend some music to us - including the best track of 2011 so far?
