The term SMOG is one which is reportedly appearing more and more on websites such as Mumsnet.
It means Smug Mother of Girls - and refers to increasing numbers of women who'd rather have a girl than a boy. More women are now wanting daughters than sons. Are girls easier to bring up compared to boys? Do girls take better care of their families? Or are boys still the responsible ones?
