As a new production of Verdict comes to the Theatre Royal in Glasgow, Clare English looks at the continuing popularity of Agatha Christie's stage plays.

Despite living in the age of musicals and arena-adaptations of hit films, the stage-plays of Agatha Christie continue to attract audiences. We'll be looking at why such plays as Witness for the Prosecution, The Mousetrap and Murder at the Vicarage remain so popular with theatre-goers. Giving Clare their thoughts will be Joe Harmston Director of the Agatha Christie Theatre Company who has brought his production of Christie's play Verdict to the Theatre Royal in Glasgow and cast-member Lyndon Ogbourne.
