16-year-old Ashleigh and her 19-year-old boyfriend Ryan are expecting their first child. Ashleigh's mum lives abroad and her dad with his new family, so she grew up with her grandma in Norfolk. Ashleigh is determined that her child will have a stable and happy childhood with the involvement of both parents.
