Tanya finds Max at the bedsit. He realises something鈥檚 wrong with her, but she puts it down to Oscar鈥檚 accident. Getting panicky, Tanya insists she鈥檚 changed her mind, she doesn鈥檛 want this anymore. Max threatens to tell Vanessa about them anyway. Tanya says she isn鈥檛 going to be with Greg and thinks Max should go back to Vanessa. Tanya returns home and tells Greg they need some time apart. Greg鈥檚 confused and suggests they talk on holiday. Meanwhile, Max arrives home to find Vanessa鈥檚 prepared a romantic meal. Max tries to eat, but soon breaks down and admits he doesn鈥檛 love her. Vanessa鈥檚 confusion quickly turns to anger, sure someone else is involved. Abi and Lauren walk in, having heard Vanessa shouting. Lauren reveals Tanya and Max have been having an affair. Vanessa storms over to No.27 and flies at Tanya, then tells Greg exactly what鈥檚 been going on. Max throws Vanessa out, Greg then tells Max to leave. Heartbroken, Greg sets off on holiday alone, refusing even to say goodbye to Oscar. Abi and Lauren are furious with her and Lauren asks if it was Max鈥檚 fault. Tanya鈥檚 devastated and the girls comfort her when she apologises for letting them down. She then sends them home. Cora and Tanya argue about the past. Max tries to reassure Abi and Lauren they can all be together again now. Lauren presents Max with a packed bag, they want him to go - Abi鈥檚 distraught but backs Lauren up. Max returns to Tanya, insists he loves her and asks what鈥檚 stopping them being together? Tanya鈥檚 adamant it鈥檚 too late, and claims she doesn鈥檛 love him. Max leaves. Hearing his car start, Tanya runs outside but she鈥檚 too late - Max is driving away into the night鈥�
