Douglas Fraser finds out if there is much to laugh about when it comes to the business of comedy. He speaks to Karen Koren from the Gilded Balloon and Tommy Sheppard of the Stand.

In this week's programme Douglas Fraser finds out if there is much to laugh about when it comes to the business of comedy. As the Edinburgh Festival Fringe continues, he speaks to Karen Koren, the managing director and creative force behind the Guilded Balloon to find out just how to make comedy pay. Tommy Sheppard, director of the Stand Comedy Club, who is - for the first time this year - running shows at the revamped Assembly Rooms, tells Douglas about the challenge. And Hayley Jarvis reports on the cost of a good gag.
