Featuring Pulp at Glastonbury in 1995, plus archive sessions from Ted Hawkins from 1989 and The Stranglers from 1977.

CONCERT:

Pulp, recorded at Glastonbury in 1995

They formed in Sheffield in 1978, and had a break between 2002 and 2011.
Throughout the 1980s, the band struggled to find success but gained prominence in the UK in the 1990s after the release of the albums His 'n' Hers in 1994 and Different Class in 1995, which both reached number one in the UK Albums Chart.
They went onto win the Mercury Music Prize for Different Class the following year.
They played a surprise set on the Park stage at Glastonbury this year and played in Hyde Park on Sunday.

SESSIONS:

Ted Hawkins, recorded for Andy Kershaw on 8th March 1989.
Ted was an American singer-songwriter from Biloxi, Mississippi, born in 1936.

In the early 90s he became restless and went back Venice Beach, California, where he was mostly an anonymous street performer.
He died in 1995, aged 58.

The Stranglers, recorded for John Peel on 1st march 1977.
