Sixteen-year-old Becky is mum to fourteen-month old Kenzie and has been finding life tough since falling pregnant. Tragically, when Kenzie was just seven months old, his sixteen-year-old dad died suddenly and a result Becky has found it difficult bonding with Kenzie as he is a constant reminder of his late father. Becky struggles to look after Kenzie by herself, feels alienated from her friends and, with little social life, her dreams of meeting a new man seem remote.
