An inquiry into the killing of Baha Mousa, beaten to death in British custody in Iraq, is expected to clear the Army of systematic torture.
Hurricane Irene has killed at least eight people in North Carolina, Virginia and Florida. More than two million people have been ordered to leave their homes, with tens of thousands of people without power. The hurrricane starts tracking over New York City.
