Clare Teal presents the second part of Maceo Parker in concert with the 大象传媒 Big Band. Recorded at the 2011 Brecon Jazz Festival tonight's set includes such funk classics as To Be or Not to Be, Uptown Up and Pass the Peas.
Saxophonist and singer Maceo Parker's name is synonymous with funk and soul. Over the past 50 years he has worked extensively with James Brown, George Clinton, Bootsy Collins, De La Soul and Prince. This is his first concert appearance with the 大象传媒 Big Band and conductor Steve Sidwell.
