Dan Walker and guests reflect on a crucial round of Euro 2012 qualifiers.
Last night, England faced a tricky trip to Bulgaria that will go a long way to deciding their progress in Group G. Also in that group are Wales and they took on Montenegro, England's rivals for top spot. Northern Ireland's prospects of qualifying look bleak and they faced a tough tie against Serbia in Group C.
Elsewhere, the Republic of Ireland went into their clash with Slovakia level with Russia and the Slovaks on goal difference at the top of Group B. Craig Levein's Scotland side play the Czech Republic this afternoon in a must-win match at Hampden. Attention will then switch to the next round of matches coming up on Tuesday, including England's game with Wales at Wembley.
