The Hornets finished comfortably in mid-table last term, but manager Malky Mackay left for Cardiff in the close season. Mackay's assistant Sean Dyche took charge, but he has endured a difficult first season, with the Hornets struggling at the wrong end of the table.

Forest also recruited a new manager, but unlike Dyche, new boss Steve McClaren has a wealth of experience. The former England coach also had spells in charge of Middlesbrough, FC Twente and Wolfsburg. McClaren's side will be expected to challenge for promotion, but they have struggled to find consistent form so far.
