The Bishop of Paisley has this week written to Alex Salmond about a "serious chill" between the Catholic church and the Scottish Government, particularly when it coes to its anti-sectarian legislation and same sex marriage, but in a secular country like Scotland, how much of a role should religion play in the running of the state?
