Coptic Christians in Egypt have been mourning the deaths of 25 people in violent protests over the weekend - and blame the army for the killings. Tamer El Mihi from the Egyptian Social Democratic Party says it's the most brutal thing he's seen this year, and it could delay forthcoming elections.
Demonstrators in Washington DC have been told they can stay there for another four months, so are protests becoming the new way to do politics in America? We speak to Jessica Smith, a woman who's new to the protests, and get reaction from Congressman Jeff Flake, the Republican representative for the 6th District of Arizona. He thinks US politicians are listening but have more to do before people will believe them.
The amount of oil leaking from a grounded container ship off the coast of New Zealand may be up to ten times worse than previously thought. The Rena has been stranded since last Wednesday - Laura Garrigos Cors lives next to a beach which has been badly damaged. She describes the sights and smells of the oil and the sadness felt by local people.
And scientists have found what they're calling a Mega Virus in sea water off the coast of Chile. It's 20 times longer than the average virus - but Carl Zimmer, the author of "A Planet of Viruses" says we shouldn't panic. He tells us that whenever you go swimming in the sea, you're surrounded by an ocean of viruses. Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water.
