This catch-up episode of the cookery contest sees the week's three surviving contestants showcasing their skills in the invention test, under the watchful eyes of judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace.
Following on from their experiences in a top Indian restaurant, the celebrities are tasked with cooking a two-course meal from ingredients including aubergine, duck, potatoes, yoghurt, salmon and a selection of fruit, vegetables and spices. With only a matter of minutes to plan their recipes and choose their ingredients, the celebrities must think fast if they are to create winning dishes. Will their skills live up to the test?
Their final task is simple; they must prepare a three-course meal to wow the judges. But it is not just John and Gregg they need to impress; the celebrities now face the infamous Critic's Table. They must cook a faultless three-course meal for three of the most knowledgeable and discerning cookery judges from the Women's Institute. As the last chance to secure their place in the semi- final, the heat is on in the MasterChef kitchen. Recipes, timings and presentations must all be perfect to impress the panel - but can the celebrities perform under the pressure?
