Shaun knocks Thursday out of the park with a cracking playlist featuring brilliant alternative music, plus comedian Ed Bryne providing the laughs.

Wednesday sees Shaun chat with brilliant Irish comedian Ed Byrne about his new critically acclaimed show Crowd Pleaser. The show toured extensively through the UK in the spring and had a hugely successful month long run at the Edinburgh fringe and is back on the road due. Ed tells Shaun about the main themes of the show that include being a nerd, owning a cat, meeting your heroes and becoming a dad.

Ed has hosted 大象传媒 1's Live At The Apollo and is a regular panellist on 大象传媒 2's Mock the Week and Have I Got News for You as well as various other new comedy shows including Miranda Harts Christmas Unwrapped. A sucker for a quiz, particular recent highlights for Ed have been taking part in Celebrity Mastermind and being a contestant on Celebrity Pointless. Ed is also a regular contributor to comedy and music shows on both 大象传媒 Radio 2 and 4 and 6 Music.

All this plus Matt Everitt joins once more with the day's music news and Shaun takes a rib-tickling satirical romp through the day's news and events, with the perfect morning soundtrack for any music-lover; from northern soul to new folk; rock 'n' roll to indie disco.
