Tuesday sees Shaun welcome director Jon Sprira to the studio to chat about his new documentary 'Anyone Can Play Guitar' which looks at the Oxford Music Scene over the past 30 years. In that time it has produced bands who have gone on to change the shape of music globally from Talulah Gosh - forerunners of the Riot Girl movement to Ride who created the 'shoegaze' genre, to Supergrass, math-disco icons Foals, nerd-rockers The Young Knives and, of course, Radiohead. In this film, these bands, their contemporaries and the promoters, management and scenesters tell the epic story of the bands who made it and the bands who failed and what happens when the independent venue at the heart of it is taken over by the Academy Music Group.

Matt Everitt joins once more with today's music news and Shaun presents a kicking morning soundtrack for any music-lover; from northern soul to new folk; rock 'n' roll to indie disco.
