Diego tries to copy Larry's surfing style but fails shamefully. Ziggy tells him that with a wish, he could prove his worth and ride down the 'Forbidden Dune', which only Larry has ever managed to do. So Diego wishes to ride the dune from top to bottom without falling and receives a pair of magic surf boots. Whoever wears them long enough will receive effortless surfing training and become a surf god.

Everything goes according to plan until the shoes fall in love with a pair of dance shoes seen on TV. Diego is whisked off to Oasiswood, as his boot's foot passenger.
