Reports from Scotland and northern England about the disruption caused by gale force winds. Plus the latest on the crucial summit in Brussels. Text: 85058 [standard message rate].
Gale force winds are causing disruption across the north of the UK. Scotland is the worst affected -- more than 60,000 homes and businesses are without power, roads and railway lines have been shut, and flights have been cancelled. Peter Allen and Aasmah Mir talk to our reporters across northern Britain, and the Deputy First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon.
Also, as European leaders arrive in Brussels ahead of a crucial summit about the Eurozone debt crisis, we talk to the three main political parties about how David Cameron should approach the talks -- and what he can get out of it.
