It's Steve's fourth annual Wear Your Old Band T-Shirt to Work Day. Don your Nirvana, New Order or NWA shirt with pride!

It's Steve Lamacq's 'Wear Your Old Band T-Shirt To Work Day 4'

For too long we have stood aside and watched in silence as fashionistas have paraded around in their Rolling Stones and Nirvana T-shirts - using the time we spent in the Indie trenches as a short cut to credibility, reducing our favourite artists to nothing more than corporations logos.

But no longer! Steve says dig out your T-shirts and be proud! Show them we care who we wear on our chests; and that we are not going to stand idly by as they undermine the lost art of showing people "I saw Coldplay at the Colchester Arts Centre" and I have the poorly produced, cider encrusted shirt to prove it.

Send in your photos and get involved at bbc.co.uk/6music and if you're tweeting use #Tshirtday4 - the person / office / family or pet we think has gone furthest above and beyond the call of duty to celebrate the day will get their hands on a shirt signed by Pulp, The Buzzcocks, Terry Hall, Foo Fighters, The Streets, Jerry Dammers, Chris Martin and Noel Gallagher to name just a few!
