Official statistics out yesterday have shown an increase in the rate of divorce. Only a few weeks ago, figures suggested that more and more over 60's were divorcing too. Many have been relating the higher rates of divorce to the recession, financial strain and mounting debt.
But isn't marriage about sticking with the one you love, through thick and thin? Has your relationship been affected by the rising costs of living? A branch of an international charity called the Hashoo Foundation was launched in the UK to help women in the remote northern areas of the country access health and education and offer advise on how to improve their diet at home. Chair of the foundation Sarah Hashwani, will be speaking to Nihal.
