John Inverdale introduces live coverage from the Millennium Stadium as the two World Cup losing semi-finalists from two months ago go head-to-head in a friendly encounter. Australia edged out Wales 21-18 in the battle for the bronze medal in Eden Park, Auckland. Shane Williams and Leigh Halfpenny both scored tries for the Welsh that day to cancel out efforts from Berrick Barnes and Ben McCalman but they ultimately fell short. That defeat means that Wales have beaten the Wallabies only once in their last seven meetings, with a narrow 21-18 home victory in November 2008. Williams, his country's record try-scorer, will retire from international rugby after this match, so will be keen to go out on a high.
