Shaun brings you three hours of music from The Kills to Kraftwerk, The Beatles to The Band, plus he chats about pubs with authors Paul Moody and Robin Turner.

Shaun Keaveny takes a rib-tickling satirical romp through the day's news and events, with the perfect morning soundtrack for any music-lover; from northern soul to new folk; rock 'n' roll to indie disco. New tracks from the likes of Wild Beasts and Florence & The Machine delightfully wrap around your semi-conscious ears, along with the best of the greatest back catalogues on the planet; be they The Smiths, The Stones, The Clash or The Jam.

all this plus another free straplines poster for you to download and authors Paul Moody and Robin Turner chat about their search for the perfect pub.

their new book 'The Search for the Perfect Pub' is partly an account of their road trip around Britain, and partly a deeper investigation into why British pub culture is the toast of the world. Taking over three years to compile, and interviewing over 100 people along the way including Guy Garvey, Pete Brown, Simon Armitage, Paul Heaton, Iain Sinclair and Paul Kingsnorth, The Search for the Perfect Pub uses George Orwell's utopian pub fantasy The Moon Under Water as a benchmark. The Moon Under Water was once synonymous with the ultimate fantasy pub, as coined by Orwell in his Evening Standard columns: 'two minutes from the bus stop where drunks and rowdies never seemed to find their way.where there was no music and motherly barmaids called you "dear" while pouring pints in red china mugs..'

Paul Moody is a writer whose work has appeared in NME, Time Out, Uncut and The Guardian. Robin Turner worked for Heavenly Recordings, where he started the legendary Heavenly Sunday Social in 1994.
