Management of Asian places of worship.
Nihal asks whether you are happy with how your place of worship is run. Plus Nikita Karizima talks about designing outfits for X Factor. And can you justify stripping for money?
At 1, Nihal asks 'Are you happy with how your place of worship is run?'
Several American websites have run a story about a Chicago Gurdwara which has been closed down because of health and safety violations. There were also allegations that certain congregation members weren't allowed to take part in the Gurdwara's religious activities. In short it appears it had been badly run. In previous phone-in's, we've been told by listeners that they've been discriminated against by their places of worship, for various reasons.
So are some Asian places of worship being run by out-of-touch committees? Are you made to feel unwelcome when you go to your Gurduwara, Mandir or Mosque? Or do you think that congregations expect too much from their places of worship?
At 2,
Nihal talks to Nikita Karizma who was recently asked to create clothes for some of this year's X Factor finalists.
At 3,
Can you ever justify stripping for money?
The NUS told the 大象传媒 it estimated about 20% of women working in lap dancing clubs were students.
Does stripping command the same level of respect just like any other profession? Or do you think that these women should look for other jobs instead? Do we judge Asian women who strip much more harshly than non-asian strippers? Are you disgusted when you hear women in your community are doing this? Or is it about time we live and let live?
