This week's show is dedicated to the boombox: two speakers, an amp, and a cassette player that changed the musical landscape and became a symbol of freedom for a generation. You can expect some tunes that'll get you poppin', so get your best tracksuit, you'll need to dress fresh for this one.

Huey's guest is Lyle Owerko who's just published The Boombox Project, a book which aims to document the machines and the culture. And Michael Kiwanuka is our don of Sharing Is Caring. The London newcomer has released two incredible, soulful EPs this year, and joined Huey back in July. As don of Sharing Is Caring, Michael will be taking up residence on the show to play the tracks that have influenced him.

And once again we'll be putting the needle to the record as we celebrate another listener's vinyl fetish by digging out one of their favourite records from the 大象传媒 vaults.
