Do asian families think its more important for boys to have an education than girls?
We received an email last week from a British Bangladeshi woman who spoke about the struggle she had pursuing in career in academia. Her husband was more interested in her looking after the kids. He also had an issue with his daughter doing a masters degree, worrying that she wouldn't be able to find a husband
What's your response to this? Is it an attitude you've heard before? Have you been held back from higher education because your parents had other ideas for you?
After 2, we're talking about desifying your x'mas dinner and airport stories.
