Jon Hillcock sits in
Jon Hillcock keeps the Hawk's nest warm for another week. It was David Bowie's birthday on Sunday and Jon visited Bromley to see if any legacy of the Thin White Duke remains.
It was David Bowie's 65th birthday on Sunday and to help celebrate Jon visited Bromley in South East London (the Thin White Duke's childhood manor) in search of the legacy of the great man. Jon did this with the help of a teacher called Mr. Dumper, and Bowie's old school reports. There's almost a series brewing here.'Jon Hillcock Investigates'!
The 5.15 Request was a storming Sufjan Stevens track, the ´óÏó´«Ã½ weather forecast with Darren Bett, and there was your Parish Notices, featuring Pixies. Jon also dug deep into his own collection of gems and played new tracks by Herzog and Frankie Rose.
